What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

I got my Bumper Shellz installed this afternoon. I took my time and the install when very well.

Hoping to get mine installed this week. How long did it take you?

 

I took my time, as i have a tendency to try to hurry through things even though i know better. Total install was less than an hour. I don't have parking sensors, so the install was really straight forward.

Don't you have the 21 Trail? My 21 Trail has sensors front and back.

 

I do have the Trail Edition, but no parking sensors.

 

Mine should be here Wed. It's cold outside and snowing, so I'll hit up an indoor parking garage and wipe them down, wait for the chrome to warm up and do the install

Time will tell, but I followed the recommendations in the install instructions and used a hair dryer to warm up the bumper and the tape. Luckily, we had spring like weather today (in the 60s), so that helped a lot.

 

Finally got around to removing my leaky JBA headers and mid-pipes, I installed American Racing Headers and mid-pipes to match the rear ARH exhaust. While I was at it, I replaced the stock header studs with ARP studs and nuts since some of the stock ones were already pretty rough looking and starting to rust.

 

...any chance of hearing this masterpiece, maybe on video?

 

Tested out Eco mode on the Pedal Commander to see if it actually saves on gas...results were a little surprising!

Finally installed my Bakflip MX4 tonneau cover.

 

Sprayed down the engine compartment with an essential oil mix due to critters chewing on my firewall insulation. I've had 2 cotton balls that I've dripped peppermint and eucalyptus on in there for months, adding oil weekly, but that doesn't appear to have been enough. When I hit the unlock button, I knew I was in trouble when I heard rustling under the hood. Opened it up and saw a flash of movement as the hood went up. Bastages.

 

Added the carbon fiber shift knob to son's XSP-X to match the carbon fiber on his dash. Now he just needs to clean the inside of his truck.

 

Installed Bamf 8inch, wireless charger, and decals in the TUNDRA letter under radio.

 

I love the chrome on my Tundra, both exterior and interior. Unfortunately, the interior reflection of the chrome is blinding and could not take it anymore, thus decided to pick up some AJT designs pieces. Pricey, but slight discount on Black Friday made it a little easier.

Although, I have a Silver Sky, I like the Lunar Rock color.

Today i spaced my bumper out 1/2 inch to clear yesterday's tires and wheels.

 

Is the carbon fiber on the silver trim pieces a kit or was it custom cut to fit?

 

I still miss my '13. D**n oil tower leak. It'll take a long long time to get this one where it was.

 

It is part of a package called XSP-X available for the SR5 in the southern U.S.,really nice appearance (inside and out) package. It actually made me a little envious when we got it for my son.

that is interesting you grabbed the Lunar Rock color. Looks good in your truck.

I’d love to see that color in person to see how well it matches. But given that the interior on my pro spray started with red accents, I’ve just been continuing with that color.

 

Finished installing Mattgecko LEDs. I added a timer circuit so they turn off after 10 minutes.

 

I wish you luck... thats tough. I had some mouse troubles a few months ago. I am using a peppermint and cinnamon mix, and some steel wool to block off some openings to the vents...

 

Thanks, it doesn't actually match anything on my interior, but like the chill and calming color. Probably my favorite Pro color now. It's unique, without being too serious or bright.

From what I've seen of the Lunar Rock, I think the color matches very well.
