So I was fooling around with my ac/heater controls and notice that when its set to LO it blows really hard out of the vents, but when I set it to HIGH it doesn't blow nearly as hard. Both settings turned all the way up, recirculation setting doesn't matter. Fan turns the same speed on both settings, verified this by removing it to make sure the speed didn't change. Just want someone to see if their truck does the same thing before I start tearing my truck apart to look at the heater core.

Yeah I figured it was kinda late when I posted it  need to get some sleep now. Did a little reading on it as well. I'll report back my findings tomorrow.

Mines the same. Had it on the front vents only and it was blowing noticeably harder on LO than on HI.

So I did some research last night and apparently this is normal. It does this to get warmer, faster. Once the truck is warm, it will blow full force on heat. Kinda strange but glad I know its normal. Thought my heater core was clogged, that woulda pissed me off. Thanks for checking for me @timsp8

NP. I tried it out first thing in the morning as soon as I started the truck. I didn’t try again when the truck was warmed up.
