Where is the pedestrian sensor located? Is it built into pre-collision system? Is it behind grill or bumpers?

I think it is the camera unit above and behind the mirror, it may work in conjunction with the radar system.

I believe it is with the lane departure camera my the mirror. You manual should tell you where each sensor and camera is.

Pedestrian sensor? You have a pre collision sensor in the emblem and proximity sensors in the front bumper and rear bumpers , depending on your vehicle package. The proximity sensors are only active at speeds below 7 mph. There is no dedicated “pedestrian sensor”.

Thanks- I don’t have parking sensors or a front camera but wife walked in front of truck and it alarmed. I am changing grill and wanted to make sure I don’t miss something.

Again- thanks. I will go thru manual.

The detection camera is by the mirror. You can see it through the windshield. The sensor is behind the grill. DO NOT forget to unplug it before you yank that grill off.
