I'm considering swapping wheels/tires with a coworker and have a question on TPMS.
We both have a 2018 SR5, can we just completely swap wheels/tires and "resync" the sensors with the truck or would it be smarter to keep the TPMS sensors with the truck?
I'd assume we could just swap everything and "resync" the sensors but I have no experience with this and wasn't sure if it's easy or difficult to do.

I do not know off hand the procedure, but you can just swap and resync with the TPMS button. Owners manual gives specifics. I think you just push and hold the button and it should sync. I do believe you have to drive a bit after pushing the button to sync so it can detect them (I believe it requires tire rotation to find the sensors).
