    Anyone ever open their gas cap during an evaporation leak check? Just curious if it pops a code.

    Yes, I will likely try it just for fun but I tend to rarely be around the truck when it runs.

    Randomly happened to catch it last night and opened the gas cap during the evap check. Lots of pressure in the tank but no code was triggered on a startup afterward.
