Its always the garages fault. Or it’s the ladders fault, the wheelbarrows fault, etc etc. All of the tools in my garage have caused me angst at some point during their existence.

Welp. I went with the 1aAuto aftermarket tow mirrors and replaced the pair. These suckers are huge. Then again, they are tow mirrors.

Retained the blind spot capability and magically the side marker lights as well as the turn signal repeaters on these aftermarket mirrors work even though my OEM mirrors didn’t have that functionality. So far so good. There is one thing to get used to and that is the main (upper) passenger mirror is not convex. Only the bottom mirrors are. That means I have to learn to look at the bottom mirrors more instead of relying just on the upper mirrors.

Due to the width of these housings, there is no way I can pull into the garage without folding at least one in. That’ll force me to remember to do so and I can hopefully avoid last week’s incident from happening again.

Wish I saw this thread earlier. I have a passenger side Limited mirror (heated, BSM) sitting in my garage, I've been thinking of just throwing it out. Helping pull out a buddy stuck in mud a couple years ago, I backed into a tree and it broke the pass mirror (bent it backwards toward front of truck) - but the mirror assembly is fine. Just cracked and jacked up the arm that connects to the truck. Anyone else reading this that needs passenger side mirror parts, pay for shipping from Virginia & it's yours.
