So I went out to start my 2014 tundra and it only clicked. I did not leave anything on. Is there anyway to tell if the battery is the original factory battery?

I would say that if it is the original battery then it worked pretty darn well. Had mine die after 18 months and there are plenty of people who had them die sooner.

I'm guessing you bought the truck used so there's probably no easy well to tell if it's the original battery. Your only clue would really be if it's an OEM battery or not. If not it was replaced at some point but if it's an OEM battery you won't know if it's the original or not.

if you wiggle the terminals, have your fob ready, cuz it will leave you deaf for a few seconds... Odds are, its not the original battery.

EDIT: Sorry, got a little too excited and lost my train of thought.. I get this on a bi-weekly basis and I currently have an Optima Yellow top, It feels as though the clamps loose some contact which grounds it out and cuts out.. If you wiggle the terminals usually it will come back to life, but the alarm will set off immediately after the crackles, or reestablished contacts....

I'm thinking my stock 2014 battery was also labeled Champion.
If you got 6 years out of it, you did pretty damn good.

Very happy with my Interstate MTP-27F....

Did you find a date stamp or label on it?
