Does anyone know why this grilled only fits models 2018 - 2021?

Fits 14-21 but you’d need the TSS cover which is used by 18-21 trucks

just FYI as well, bunch of different aftermarket options for the overly expensive cover piece. I have the Ares Customs version which is like 80 bucks and it looks great

Check the build link in my signature.
And if your truck is pre-2018, you just need something to cover the rectangular hole in the front below the “YO”

Thanks everyone for the responses. I'm looking to swap my current grill and the pro 18+ is the only one I like.

Hello everyone I’m new to the form and I have yet to actually create a new member post which I apologize about I will get around to that hopefully later tonight. I have jumped right into upgrading and swapping out parts on my 2021 Toyota tundra 1794 and hopes to make it more like the TRD pro. My question is and hopefully somebody can answer this how is the TSS cover plate secured to the grill? It looks it like it just sits in place but there’s really nothing securing it all the screws to the TSS sensor mount to the actual grill but not the plate I’m worried the plates gonna fly off as I’m driving down the road any suggestions besides maybe gorilla glue it in place.

here is the thing one of the clips is broken thanks to a 9-month airedale terror. went looking for the piece and it was in the backyard. I am thinking I will go to lowes with no grill at the moment and try a couple of different push nuts... that piece fits so loosely, I can just see it falling off and losing another hundred to replace it. BTW thanks for the quick reply

Yeah I know. Hard for me to put a fake one on...even though the real one is just an overpriced fake one. Been debating whether to go that route. The real TSS cover is a joke at $300 for a piece of plastic.

That yours? No complaints on it? Looks pretty nice. I think I spoke with you before that you had no TSS issue..
