I primarily need cable for NHL and CFL games but my wife pretty much always has the TV on when she's at home.

@Kung thats awesome! I'm glad you guys pushed and recovered as a result.

My mother has Kaiser and maybe 15 years ago her hands were always hot and hurting. She went to a specialist and was told its carpal tunnel and only surgery would fix it.

When she told me this I told her thats bull, she doesn't have carpal tunnel but she does have a circulation problem and high blood pressure. I told her see another doctor because I suspected a form of arthritis. She saw another doctor but unfortunately with Kaiser they all know each other so this doctor agreed. She had the carpal tunnel operation and it did nothing for her.

Fast forward a few years and the specialist who told her have a surgery is no longer there. She saw another who said it seems to be rumitoid arthritis. When I heard that I immediately thought I am underpaid.

I have had more minor "told you so doc" moments myself but I don't want to derail too far.

You can stream pro sports online. ;) Another option is DAZN for something like $150/year. I split it with my friend and it has most pro sports.

Apparently Netflix is planning to add an option for an auto play channel of sorts. Something like the movie channel on cabke where there is always something on and you don't get to make a decision what to watch.

Bam. I just saved you $100 per month. :D

The places in Canada that have cheap real estate don't tend to have a ton of jobs.

On the rare occasion I've had bad service, the people I've been with have tried to make me feel guilty for not leaving at least 10%.

Then let them leave the tip - however much they think the service was worth. Problem solved.

So I mentioned that nose ear throat specialist office where my wife goes, the one where the front desk makes faces while on the phone and neglected to tell a patient she was scheduled for a different office...

Wife just went for a covid test as prep for a procedure tomorrow. They claim they called her and left a message to reschedule it. She has no missed calls and no voice mails. How much you wanna bet they never called?

I just read your post, Tennessee is where we're moving first of the year when I retire. We already bought a place away from almost everything, 115 acres. You hit it on the nail about people being rude and New Mexico it looks like it's turning into a Little California. The politics coming from the northern part of our state is hurting us in the southern part.
