Just picked this up this week in Indiana. I found there's maybe 1/4" of clearance once I got it home. I had to push it in by hand as I didn't want to risk damaging anything...

I really like the 1794 version though so I had to go with the crewcab.

    Thanks guys. Friendly place!

I grew very fond of Toyota after fixing up a 2017 Camry I bought from the auto auction (recovered theft). That car was a fun project and I drive it everyday.

I loved the fact you can buy a $20 dongle on ebay and use the the same software as what the dealer uses. I even programmed my own keyfob.

Every grommet and body panel on it just fit like a glove. Some parts even had velvet to minimize any squeaks or rattles. Very well thought out compared to everything else I've worked on.

I never thought when I bought that car on the cheap I'd have such a beautiful truck. Had 2 miles on it when I got it.

    Welcome from Dallas.

My 2005 barely fit in the garage of my old house.
It had the washer/dryer in the garage and I couldn't open the dryer door with the truck inside.

My current home, the Tundra will not even fit in it.
But that is OK, the wife just parks her SRX in the middle and I park in the driveway...

    Welcome from Maryland :hattip:

Yea your garage is NEVER big enough

I built a 20x40 pole building/ garage and only enough room to squeeze by rear of truck - wish I would have went at least 24’ deep or more like 30’ so I could have a bench in front of truck Already plan on a extended carport on one end - but deck on house has to be done first or wife will shoot me - LOL

Yea I know - at least I have a garage to put it in !!

TIME & MONEY- never enough of Both !

If it's the door height that's close usually (if you have track left) you can program it to open a little further. I had to move the track mounting bolts back a few inches an then adjust my door travel to gain an extra couple inches when I got mine..

Welcome from Pennsylvania. Had the same issue, ended up dropping a tennis ball down from the ceiling and a wheel stop on the floor. Found that helped greatly. Congrats on a nice a truck

Too close for comfort!! You can’t move the stuff in front of your truck to gain some space? I cleared out everything in the back of my garage so I could fit comfortably. I don’t trust myself to not back up too far and hit something regardless of the rear camera

    Welcome!
I have not even tried to get my truck in the garage. I have shelves along all 3 walls, so there is no way it would fit.
    It sleeps in the driveway.

Naw. Deep freeze that doubles as a workbench and all my cabinets are mounted to studs. It’s not too bad once you do it a few times.
I’ve got stoppers and references as well.
Wife has to park on the other side, and because of my house design, and me adding square footage to my man cave, the other side of the garage is actually shorter.
This spring I’m Building a 2car garage with a mother-in-law suite and a new outdoor cooking area next to the pool.
That will be my new parking and workshop.

Damn. Sounds like you are going to have it made. I’m hoping to do the same minus the in-law suite because I can’t have empty bedrooms in my house. Thats a recipe for disaster.

Yeah, no intentions of actually having a mother-in-law, just going to use the available square footage above garage.
Better call it a garage apartment before I get myself in trouble.:D
