fog light question

As you all know, Toyota has a recall on the turn signal lights. I had my headlights and fog lights covered in Lamin-X.

Will I lose the Lamin-X when the truck goes in?

 

No, they just switch the wires on the back of the turn signal socket.

 

Not all VINs had the issue that required the recall. My 2020 was good before I pulled the headlights. There is a thread with video that shows how you can swap the wires yourself.

 

I believe it's only with the LED headlights.

Either way, as @Jim LE 1301 stated, they only touch the wires in the socket. They don't touch the exterior housing any. You'll be fine if you end up needing it done.
