I know some of you take your Christmas lights pretty seriously.

I’ve often been considered the Scrooge of the family, but with two young boys, I decided to get in the spirit this year. This is the first time I’ve put up lights on the house. It’s a little early, but I had to take advantage of the dry weather, and got it done between taking care of the 2 year old and the 3 month old.

    Let’s see your lights!

It's not December 1st yet. That is the first day any Christmas lights/music/comments/mere thoughts should be allowed.

Ban this thread for another week. Then light-er-up.

    lol

No way, the Christmas season starts Nov 1st. Thanksgiving is just a gateway holiday.

Either December 1st or Advent I, whichever comes first in a given year. Advent I is November 29th this year.

Here is what I have so far. Still need to wrap the chimney stack, window frames and the lighted wreath on the door
