I have a set of rear ADS 2.5 tripple bypass shocks for sale. These retail for approx. 1800.

These were on my truck for a few years and have some wear. There is some rust on the shock bodies and the forward facing shock shaft has some pitting.

I had planned to rebuild them and repaint, but I don’t have the time.

Price of the shocks reflects the issues. However, they are not leaking and could be run as is.

Asking 500 obo. Located in the San Diego area. As of now, no shipping.

What did you think of them? I've been considering these, curious why you took them off, what shock are you going with next?

For the price it'd actually be worth it to rebuild and powder coat 'em. Someone could have some great custom shocks for a bit less than buying off the shelf. GLWS

they were awesome. I used them with the Deaver U-748 springs. You can really tune how you want the rear to ride by adjusting the bypass tubes.

they were removed when I went Long Travel.

Off the top of my head, the seal kit from ADS is probably going to be about 30-35 per shock plus shock oil (unsure of price on oil). A call to ADS would be best for solid prices.
Labor to rebuild is going to be about 150ish per shock. Rebuilding shocks is very easy tho. there are multiple YouTube vids that walk you thru a rebuild.

I was heavily debating grabbing them, either run them or just rebuild and sell. But I'm lazy :D

Guess they don't fit your Baja Rey. Ran across a post of yours on an RC forum, doing research before I bought one. BTW, thanks. I ordered alu upper and lower A arms.

I have the same ones and they are fine. honestly I don't notice them at all.
A little bit of TLC and elbow grease and you could run them like that especially if no leaks.

I only heard mine when I had the window down and driving under +/-25 mph. After a while you just stop hearing it.

    100%

they are noticeable at low speeds, but not distracting or bothersome. You notice them every once in awhile when the window is down and just realize Oh Ya, those are my awesome BA shocks....Windows up, you won’t hear them.
