05 Access Cab led lighting pursuit

Anybody out there with an 05 that has traveled that interior led bulb replacement road? I've already done most of the standard interior lights(doors, dome, map, glove box, ash tray, drivers footwell, and cig lighter bulb on order), and am thinking of venturing 1stly into my HVAC area, then POSSIBLY my main instrument cluster. I've done a lot of searching and the main thing I'm coming away with is that the 05-06 clusters have soldered chips instead of bulbs? 2ndly, I've already had the HVAC cluster board removed recently for a cup holder repair and an AC/defrost mode switch cancel, and am I correct that those twist out socketed green condom bulbs are a 1 piece deal which bulbs cannot be removed from without desoldering etc? Hoping some of yous can get me started here. Go easy,...I'm old Thanks

 

The instrument cluster is soldered leds. You can wetsand the green backing off for a white look. There are pics of this done in the 'what have you done...' thread. See here:

Those bulbs in the socket pop right out and can be replaced with LED ones. They are wedge based 168/194 (T10) and 75 (T5) sizes iirc.

 

Perfect, just the direction I was looking for. Love the sanded white with some green accent left. Imagine he just left the original white soldered chips then. So any of the twist out bulbs in the HVAC or the Main cluster are removable from their sockets then?
