    Just added the OEM toyota Automatic tailgate Lock kit. 100% plug and play, ( it's on Amazon!) just a PITA to understand the provided toyota instructions. I found a video online that helped a lot. best thing of all, it worked the first time I tried it! it's not much, but it makes it very convenient to be able to lock / unlock the tailgate with the fob, and not having to drag my keys out of my pocket to use the tailgate key to open / Lock the back. I have the Pace Edwards Retracting bedcover, so if I lock the cover, I have a somewhat secure area that prevents "temptation" to those folks who might have slightly sticky fingers.

    I assumed this was standard since it came on mine already. Tailgate locks when I lock the doors and vise versa. It is definitely convenient.
