It had brackets to mount the OEM fogs on, then bolt them to the bumper. I can snap a pic tonight.

I had the mid bumper when it first released and then swapped out to the full upon it's release. Love it. We also did a full Victory front on our 4Runner.

I am having a hard time deciding on which bumper to go with. The C4 is probably my favorite but they dont offer powdercoating. I could get it done locally but its super expensive and a Hassel. At this point I am looking hard at Victory's Stealth and CBI's Baja.

Any advice on this? Also do either outfits offer a any sort of member discount?

Victory offers launch discounts but not member discounts that I'm aware of.

However, if you call them ask to speak with Corey - if there is something, he'll be up to date on it.

I've been running their armor for over a year now and have begun outfitting the wifes 4Runner in similar fashion. Great product and their powder coating has held up so far through 1 Canadian winter.

Why do you “have” to powder coat it? You can paint it and be just fine. You can rhino line it or use a bed liner spray of your choice, etc...

Paint is much easier to repair also if you ever get scratches or whatever happens in life. Either way, there are other options other than just PC. I would guess PC for that bumper would be around $300-$400 ish. Any higher and you should go elsewhere. Good luck.

Has anyone out there ever tried Iron Cross HD bumper. I ordered one off of Amazon.com but... Well the third attempt is expected this afternoon, it was only $500, so I figured it would be a good deal. Now, I'm not so sure. Iron Cross HD Front Bumper 20-715-14.
First bumper delivery date was 9 Oct, it was a no show. Then second attempt 17 Oct and with that attempt they tried to deliver a 21-265-10, rear bumper for a 2010-2015 Dodge Ram. :annoyed:
I'm hoping todays delivery goes a bit better, I'll find out sometime between 3-6.
    :fingerscrossed:
Is getting a bumper normally this problematic or am I just a special case?:monocle:

OK, so reorder with Amazon was a horrible idea. Even though the price was great XPO Shipping brought out the same exact dodge ram rear bumper, in the same box and told me it was the tundra bumper. When I offered to show them it was the same one they tried to deliver last time they apologized and left. I have sense cancelled the order and am looking again.

    I like the ARB suggestion.

I put one on a friends 2nd gen and it was kinda flimsy. We had to adjust it a few times as it would rattle around and hit his fenders. You could actually push on the ends and it would flex a lot. The powder coating started to peel off after a few years too. He said that he would never buy again. When he sold the truck the buyer asked if he still had the original bumper to put back on it.

Its a price point bumper thats ready to ship. All depends on what your looking for.

Thanks I just looked at them. Love the look, but not the price. My wife say's I'm too cheap for my own good. :ballchain::angrygirl:
So... While seeking things out on e-bay last night I inadvertently, yeah, how stupid can I be, bought this thing while trying to check out the discounted price offered and didn't realize I bought it until afterwards. It is the Smittybilt 612841, M1 bumper, sold by 4WD Hardware. The offer was $530.22, so instead of buying the MetalTech4x4 bumper I was going to by, I have kind of committed to a bumper without knowing it...?:facepalm:So, I am praying this will fall into the "God looks out for fools and idiots," category of life. My wife was far less apologetic, and informed me this was a new practice on e-bay and not to click any pop-up window in e-bay that read "click on the buy it now to see your discounted price." Which I had already clicked on it, saw the discounted price, then it said I bought it and must pay now. I repeatedly tried to remove it and my wife laughed and said well, you bought it. So, since I have committed myself, in an Olympic sized/Semi-professional level of stupidity :101010:with my current knowledge of E-Bay, I feel somehow obligated to share my bumper saga, unless no one cares. Then I'll just keep it to myself, let me know.

But if anyone is interested in MetalTech4x4, they looked really cool, the builder has an awesome story, and I "was" going to pick one up next Tuesday, they have them in stock, that is before I massively screwed up while searching E-Bay, and bought a bumper. :annoyed:As it is I am afraid of E-Bay now, and don't need to inadvertently buy anything else. I pray they send me the right part and not a rear bumper for a 2010 Dodge Ram, like happened with Amazon. When I explained that I thought it was like Amazon and you could click on the "Buy it now" button to see the discount, and then back out or remove the item, my wife just laughed. :( I'll find out on the 16th if I completely hosed myself, as returns are accepted, but return shipping is paid by the buyer. o_O

I don't think Victory will do member discounts on here after they had their vendor status revoked. I could be wrong, but I wouldn't expect them to off one.

    Here's CBI's no hoop option.
    1L5A1348.jpg

As long as you can remove the grill by clearing the hoops (if you have them), then you can install the winch without removing the bumper. Simply remove the bottom face plate, grill and bumper support brace and you have lots of room to install a 12k winch.

So it turns out that accidentally ordering the E-Bay Smittybilt bumper was a wonderfully happy accident. Bumper came in at 5 pm and is brand new, looks awesome, came with ProComp LED light kits that sell for $125 per pair (Amazon price), when not part of the bumper kit. Only $530.22 for everything and free shipping.

Looks great! Did you opt for the aluminum option? I had read and heard in their recent walk around video that this bumper would be available in aluminum but can’t seem to see it on their site.

Wiring is the one thing I don't do sadly. I can hack and cut and mount with confidence enough to tackle it, but wiring is something I don't touch.
I had mounted them in place but left the hook ups to my shop to do.

Sorry man, I'm not 100% sure where they placed that.

Didn't come with the winch that was an additional $279, found on Amazon, Smittybilt XRC9500.

It went on super easy, took about 2.5 hours, unfortunately that was spread out through the entire day, segmented by trips to and from the vet, and I didn't get a chance to take the pictures I wanted of the install.

Small dog, three legged wiener dog, heard me go into the garage first thing in the morning when she was on the bed with Mom, and took a flying leap off of the bed, about 3 foot high. Then was limping on her one front leg, so all plans to take pictures were waylaid by her and most of the day spent moving her too and from the vet. Good new was after all the trips to the vet she just has a bruised elbow, and spent most of the time when not at the vet hanging with her Dad installing the bumper.

I still have to align the gaps and torque to speck today, then do the wiring for the lights.
