    I work for Shell, so have a bias soft spot for pectin’s. An old fuel station was being tore down a while back, and the big old high rise sign plastics just happened to end up not in their garbage pile ;) :eek: I have plans of cutting the logo out, mounting to a back board and lighting with leds.

    Physically got the plow mounted today. Just have to run the winch wiring now that I know I fits!

    I had to cut a couple inches out of the bumper to fit the plow brackets.

    We’re live! Remote controlled :)
    I went for a shake down run at 60 km/h and everything feels tight. Dropped it down on the pavement in front the house and plowed a bit- works awesome so far! :)

    I’m glad this worked out for you. I’m in the same boat as you, needing something to clear snow at my new house but I don’t think I can get myself to put a plow on my truck. I’ve wanted a quad since I was a kid so I’ll probably just use this as an excuse to get one

    Is it a steel plow or poly? Yup, I’m too lazy to look that up!

    If it’s steel, I’ll suggest a bar of snowboard wax (or similar) and a heat gun to wax up the face of the plow.

    My brother and I built a steel plow years ago when we had a 1 km driveway. Waxing the plow made the snow roll much better helping it slide ditch-ward instead of just building up in front, not clump onto the face of it when pushing up a pile, and overall reduced the effort needed from the truck.

    Then again, I’m the weirdo that waxes my snowshovels so snow doesn’t stick in them, making my job a bit easier. So there’s that...
