Headlight Question

My coworker just purchased a 2020 SR5 TSS Tundra. I have a 2019. I have LED headlights and he does not.

I thought all 2019 and newer models came with LED headlights.

Does anyone know why his 2020 would have come without LED headlights? I don’t want to give him bad info.

I am including a pic of his and mine for reference.

The SR5 has halogen. Limited and up have Leds.

 

So I have a 2019 SR5, def not a limited, yet mine still came with LED's, that's what is confusing me. I have not changed anything on my headlights since I got my truck from the dealer. Maybe there is some package that included LED headlights like the TRD package or something.

 

For SR5, the TRD off-road or sport upgrade package will include the LED headlights. All 2020 Tundras have LED DRLs though.

 

My 2021 has LED daytime running lights, but halogen headlights.

Hehe, np, looks like I posted at the same time, otherwise I would have withheld the redundant info

 

I just solved it by putting Morimoto XB's in mine.

 

I will let him know to look at those.
