Yeah, I bought a locking mount for the Axe & Shovel, but the bolt pattern did not match the bolt pattern on my rack. So i have to get a new set of holes drilled into the mount. Not to derail the thread... @InfernoPRO's build seems like a "Proper Tundra"!!

That’s about the only thing locked down. I only have to carry the axe and shovel with me into the bank. ;)

That’s why I have the shovel. It wasn’t looking good at the end.

I don't think I will mount the highlift on the rack. It would be the shovel & maxtrax's only. Hightlift will have to go on the bedrail under the tonneau.

I mounted mine on the floor of the bed. Definitely didn't want that much weight hanging off my bedrails and it's nice and out of the way since I only use it a couple times a year.

Yup. This does not preclude some one with a bolt cutter access to the mount and the items, but I figure a person will have to carry bolt cutters with them and have enough time to pull it off, vs someone just passing by and doing a quick snatch.

I actually carry a 36" bolt cutter in my truck. That thing cuts a padlock like it's butter.

Awesome build! How do you like the All-Pro Apex sliders? I'm looking at picking up a set local as well. How much of a pain was the install? Did you run into any conflicts with the RCI skids?

I still like them more than the other options on the market. They have held up well from abuse. The install is fairly quick, longest part is drilling the holes for the bottom bolts. You will have to drop or lower your gas tank skid to install them.

Make sure you check out Sidetrack Off-road in Folsom before you buy. Morgan gives a good cash price on the sliders (have to call him).

Thanks, that's good to hear! I'm really liking the design (and price) of those the best. I'm pretty sure that's the same shop for the Craigslist ad I found (located in Folsom). Those will be my first mod after I upgrade to some better tires.
