Ok like the thread best deal you guys have found on the 6112 and 5160s. Ready to purchase spoke to 2 of the vendors on here and they unfortunately were quite a bit more expensive then some other places i have found. So if you have any insight please post it up thanks!

Amazon. Price might be a little higher but free shipping makes up for it.

I got the 6112's for $609 from parts geek, including shipping. Shock warehouse for the 5160's, 174 each shipped. $90 to have the 6112's assembled. Wheelers and Toytec will both set them up for you, but it will cost you a bit more. But you won't have to wait to get them on your truck! I was salivating for over a week before I could put them on the truck! Fyi, plan on doing something better with the resi's on the 5160's. The hose clamp setup they come with is a joke. I've had them break twice on the passenger side. Not even doing anything but driving on the road.

Mine came assembled from Amazon on the highest setting. As far as the rear 5160's. I gotta agree, it's a cheesy set up with the hose clamps. So far I haven't had problems w them. But, really. Great shocks, sh$:ty finished product. I only have about 2500 miles wth them at this point.

Yeah, I love the shocks. The truck takes railroad tracks like their nothing now! I'm not sure about Bilsteins billet clamps either, they show one per shock. I'd feel better with two, that would be solid. But at $40 a piece, that's a lot of coin. I think it was Rustysoffroad a jeep parts place that has some bracket things that don't use hose clamps to mount the resi's on the frame. I'm not sure if the resi hoses are long enough, but for like $30 it's worth getting them and find out. But till my wife let's me.:ballchain::ballchain:

Purchased mine from StreetSideAuto today. $549 shipped, no tax. They were out of stock the first time I waited. They emailed me within a week once they were back in stock. Seen them elsewhere for high $500's.

Dang, you did good! When I got mine I checked all over, but never saw street side. Do they have good prices on other parts to?

They had the lowest price on 5100's but were out of stock when I was ready to buy. Picked up 5100's from 4wheelparts over the weekend during a sale. Now I'm shopping hard for UCA's. Thought I was decided on Tuff Country Uniball. Leaning towards the Camburg now.

What's the difference in 6112 for tundras and 6112 for tacomas? Should be same shock right?

How does the 6112/5160 compare to TRD PRO suspension? This is a set up I've been contemplating but have also been eyeing the icon stage 3 kit too. (I'm aware the icon set up is a better more expensive kit)

Cant imagine much different. I am guessing the shock is the exact same, but the TRD comes with the resi. Like going from a Fox 2.5 to a Fox 2.5 resi. Rears are likely the same exact thing except branded differently.

The resi allows more travel and less heat build-up. You don't need it unless you're doing some pretty hard core thrashing. 90+ of the time the 6112's will do just fine.
