My buddy began making his own the other month. So far, he’s made Almond Joy, Lemon Drop, Apple Pie, Carmel Apple, Cotton Candy, Pumpkin, and Peach.
Next up will be Recess PB Cup.

Is anyone else making their own shine, or just an enjoyer of drinking them, like myself :p

I spent a lot of time in Western MD and WV and loves me some Shine. Lot of the local shiners were using Jolly Ranchers for flavor, good stuff.

WV goodness out in Canaan Valley. This was at one of the warming huts at an XC Ski place (Whitegrass) we spent a lot of time at.

I had the privilege of consuming Lambanog in the Philippines. Luzon. Distilled palm. Filipino moonshine. Usually clear but sometimes raisins are added for color. Holy Sh!t that was good. We'd chase it with a swig a beer. My friend would ignite the shot first for the kuul affect. You have to be quick....just sayin. Marines!

Green Colorado Spruce tree needles. It works. Put some in cheesecloth. Let the shine absorb it. Wonderful. Don't ask how I know this.......

My buddy used to make moonshine in his basement when we were in university but that's all I remember about it...

Peppermint, add it to hot cocoa, we call it moose milk. Spiced apple. Think apple cider. Pecan. All those would ve good winter flavors.
