If this is not allowed, I apologize and understand if it’s deleted.

The guy in the pic, on the phone, stopped his Tundra (it was already dented) to check on my wife (the Highlander) and the other vehicle’s driver a few weeks ago.
He immediately went to my wife and asked if she was injured and if she needed an ambulance. Then did the same for the other driver. He told my wife he saw the whole thing and that the other driver made an illegal turn in front of my wife’s vehicle. He waited for the police to arrive and gave his statement.
I can’t tell you the misfortunes my wife and I have had this year beyond the obvious. And to have someone go out of their way to make sure everyone was ok and to stay around to help truly restores my faith.
Thank you fellow Tundra owner, you are appreciated. And I’d love to help you pull that dent out!

Outstanding. It’d be cool if he was on the site so you could get in touch with him.

Check through the mgm and camper threads. The rack on top is pretty distinctive.

Very nice of him to stop and help.
    Those damn New York drivers.:p
Glad to hear your wife is okay.

**On a side note his (good samaritan) information should be on the police report. Go to the PD and ask for a copy.

I’d be really unhappy if someone posted a picture of me with my distinctive truck without my permission on a forum that allows us to interact without identifying info. That would be the exact opposite of what I would expect to happen after I went out of my way to help someone. Just posting a picture of the truck on a truck forum would be good enough to accomplish what you’re trying to do without making photos public of someone who may not appreciate it.

Edit: I agree though, it’s a good story. I just think it’s wrong that you posted a candid pic of someone without his permission.

I would think you can get the witness name through the police or your insurance company. If they can't provide contact information because of privacy laws or policy, they may be willing to pass along your contact info with the message you are willing to help repair his truck.

I came into this thread after the edit, so I was none the wiser about the picture (or the edit). Yes, there are still good people out there in this world, and yes, it helps restore a little faith in humanity after a year like this. I would have done the same thing, without thinking twice about it. Hope you have some success finding the individual.
