2020 TRD Sport ...Ok after over a week on the bilstein 5100 on top setting , my opinion has changed a bit from my initial review. Yes its stiffer which i don't mind but what i'm noticing is the truck is constantly moving around, never settling down going up and down and around and around, roller coaster feeling and its making me motion sick, LOL. Feels like the springs are fighting the shocks .. In the rear is a 1 inch block and factory trd 4600's..The truck feels like the bumps are resonating thru the frame and the motion is endless . I didn't notice this with factory setup but i dont want to go back to stock settings

Now here is my dilemma . Do i go with the Bilstein 6112 which i read great stuff about ? Do i not lift truck as high cause maybe the higher setting is making the trucks center of gravity higher and making more suspension travel ie "MOTION" ? I was thinking of either going with the 6112 at 1.3 and removing rear lift block and see how that rides or will going with the 1.9 setting and keep the rear block for a little rake and upgrade those rear shocks to 5100's help with the motion?? I like the lifted look but cant stand the extra all around motion inside the cab. Will this setup help lesson the issue?? The last thing i want is nose high so even when its perfectly level the truck can seem nose high in certain angles , so a 1.5 in higher rear wont bother me as long as the nose is off the ground more then stock!!! My factory setup had 2.5 inches higher in rear!!
Any advice appreciated as im not enjoying my ride at the moment!!

I was deciding between the Bilstein's and the Old Man Emu 612 setup when lifting my truck, and ended up going with Old Man Emu. This may not be the response you were looking for, but just thought I'd point out the OME 612 setup lifted my truck about 3" in front and 1" in rear and I love the ride :). Never had issues like you are referencing.

Did you have leaf springs too or just coils shocks and struts?

Try adjusting the 5100s you have to be lower, go down from the top setting to the next one below. That should certainly help the ride. I would try that since you have them already. If it still does not handle to your liking then you should have no trouble selling the 5100s here and you can get something else that will fit your needs.

I agree with frichco288, try resetting the 5100s. If that doesn’t work for you I can share that I just did the 6112s top setting on front and 5100s on rear with 1 inch block on my sons 2010. The front is slightly higher than the rear but the ride and handling is awesome. No complaints at all.

I had 5100's all around at first. Funny, I was experiencing the same front end wandering but didn't upgrade the shock for that reason. I just wanted a more "off road" suspension setup so I went with Kings.
