Welp... After almost 20 years of ownership and wanting a Celica GTS for as long, I am finally coming around to swapping my trustee 1zz for a 2zz... coulda, shoulda, woulda bought a GTS, did that from day 1, but was declined due to being a new buyer and some shady Glendale, CA dealer who really didn't want to sell me a car for low interest and wanted some 18% apr with a cosigner with excellent credit, high 700s at that time and insurance was like 700 a month... so I gave in, and bought a 2nd hand 12k mile gt automatic with manageable insurance premium... but still had my shit pushed in because they claimed it was a V8... so fast forward 18 years due to this and that had the money to buy one, but most were high miles so I gave it up, priorities took over and so now I finally purchased all my pieces... 2zzge engine with 100k miles, c60 6speed with 65k miles, 2000 ECU with high rev... I'm keeping all my receipts just in case... so far 2.5 hours of work in 7 days. I've drained the fluids and removed part of the wiring harness... my time is sorta limited so I'm tapping bagging and tagging everything.. so far I've had a broken radiator so, here comes some pain...

Going to be slow, lol... my special needs kid is starting to get sick, so I'll have to split time between with S.O. watching him and putting in work outside...

Took some time to drain out the radiator completely.. don't think the engine is completely drained, but here goes nothing.. got almost everything unbolted with the exception of lower extremities, axles, exhaust and mounts...

Broken radiator at the top inlet..
