Hey guys, I've been experiencing some steering wheel wobble at 50 mph then goes away once I hit 70+. Also when reversing or moving slowly forward, with my wheels turned left or right, I feel a knocking in the steering wheel. Also bad tire wear on the outside of the tires. I went threw and did all the basics, multiple alignments, tire rotations and balances nothing has helped. I spoke to some people and they said it could be my inner and outer tie rod ends wearing out. Any thoughts? truck has 125k miles with 35 inch tires and have been on multiple off-road trips with this truck.

I had a knocking in my steering wheel at slow speeds when turning. Turned out to be the intermediate steering shaft. Toyota replaced it under warranty, no problems since. I could see play in that shaft cause some wobble at certain speeds in the steering wheel. Just something to check

This sounds like an issue with a part that holds the wheels squared with the frame. Check the steering rack, inner and outer tie rods, upper and lower ball joints, and control arm bushings.

Check your fluid.. mine had sort of the same symptoms and I was below the cold low mark on fluid, added some and there is some light vibration but mostly firm.
