Maintenance required notification on dash

So I changed the oil and filter on my 2020 Tundra at 3014 miles on 8/11, then rotated the tires at 4870 miles on 10/12.

Then as I approached 5000 miles the message "Maintenance required soon" appeared on the dash, now I have just over 5000 miles and the message "Maintenance required" is on the dash.

After looking through the software I did find the maintenance section, but it wouldn't allow me to input the maintenance already done because a past date is not valid. This is very frustrating as I went to the dealer (a few months ago) to buy a service manual and was told they don't sell them, what's up with that! Toyotas way to leverage us to bring our vehicles in for service?

Can anyone explain how to reset the maintenance required message? I sure don't want to make a trip to the dealer for something like this.

 

On mine, I go to vehicle settings on the dash display, maintenance reset.
