Thanks for accepting me as a member. Was Googling some Tundra-specific information when I came across the forum.

My truck: 2016 1794 Edition, flex fuel, with bed liner, bought new in Colorado. Brought it home to Virginia Beach in 2017. Great truck. It’s towed other cars, towed numerous trailers, hauled stuff from Lowe’s, taken loads of stuff to the landfill, road-tripped across country, moved kids into college dorms, and done every single thing I’ve asked of it with a touch of luxury and anvil-like reliability.

No real mods on it. TRD sway bar. Michelin LTX tires. Hard tonneau cover. Orvis dog cover on the back seat.

    Other vehicles: 1932 Packard sedan, 2001 Volvo V70 T5 (now my son’s), 2002 Volvo V70 T5 (now my daughter’s), 2002 Volvo V70XC (my wife’s car) and a 2005 Mercedes S600.

    Cheers,
    Astro

It does. Mine is a fairly basic sedan of that year. It's a "standard eight" of 319 cubic inches. 110 HP (a lot for the time) 9 main bearings. Very smooth running engine. That year, Packard built a "standard eight", a "super eight" of 384 cubic inches, making 135 HP, and a V-12, known that year as the "Twin Six" of 445 cubic inches and 160 HP. Those engines are works of art.

    Cheers,
    Astro

A friend of mine Dad owned the only drugstore in town. This was back in the mid 60's. He collected a few cars. One was the Packard with the V-12. I got to ride in it a couple times. Very cool car. Long ass hood.
