possible the combustion pressure is getting past the threads. hard to tell without video at least. but even then its hard.

these engines (all the first gen engines) are sping and bucket design, there are no lifters

Did not know I didn't have lifters so does that mean I can drive and no damage will occur to engine? Looking for all the knowledge I can want to make informed decision on what to do to fix.
    Thanks!

it should be looked into. it is possible you have a noise related to the plug issue. you do not want a plug to fly out while driving.

Ok just want as much knowledge to bring to mechanic. I was also thinking something to do with pressure because they took the top of engine apart but don't know if there is s factory setting??

Doubt it’s a fuel issue. A video would do a lot to possibly shed light on it.

Probably just a short video of the truck idling with the hood up and a few good revs to see what noise you are referring to. Good luck and tell us more about your truck. got pics?
