Is this a good deal?

In the market for a Tundra, and am going to look at this one today. The Carfax estimated the value at 18,100. From all the Tundras I find on Autotrader, this seems like a good deal. When I read through the thread titled "What did you pay for your Tundra" (Or something like that) I am not sure. Some of ya'll seem to have gotten some smoking deals.

Second question, besides frame rust and signs of an oil-leak what are some of the specific things related to this truck to take a look at? Thanks in advance to the community, and hopefully I will soon be a full fledged member of the Tundra family.

Can you get a CarFax on it? I looked for mine for months and what really peaked my interest in the one I purchased was it was a 1 owner, all services at the same dealership the 1st owner purchased it from and it was the same dealership I purchased it from. The 1st owner took very good care of it and it had all of the major maintenance done to it, including the water pump, radiator, coil packs, and transmission fluid changed.

I did pull the Carfax, and everything looks good. The seller is the 2nd owner, the first owner it was a corporate truck that has service records every 5000 miles religiously from the same shop. I am assuming that the seller did the maintenence himself as there are no records for the last couple of years.

If you get this one I would highly recommend getting all of the fluids changed out. Did the seller go off-road a lot? Definitely have a mechanic check it out as well. A good friend of mine is a mechanic and she she went with me to go look at the truck I bought. She really put it through the ringer on the first part of the test drive and told me after looking it over that it was a solid truck. So far it has been very good!

Can't help you with the price but I really like the looks of the truck! Good luck!

It definitely looks clean. Check out the blue book value to be sure. Not sure if you're financing or paying cash, but either way you could always see what a bank/credit union would loan for it to help give you an estimated value.
