Replacing the fuel pumps due to a possibility they can die out and cause the engine to shut off

takes a hour or so to do. Best to take the truck in with almost an empty tank to make it go a wee bit faster

You can go to https://www.toyota.com/recall to check your vehicle.

FYI... I clicked on that link in another post (and off TFLtruck.com) and it takes me to the website but disables the "Submit" button when I enter my VIN or license plate. Dunno if that's a security thing or because I'm on an iOS device. If you go to Toyota.com and then Recalls, it will work.

Not sure if the website is updated for this recall. My 2020 (took delivery in Oct 2019) is NOT on the list (yet).

Yep I checked and my VIN showed it wasn't on the list either.

I did the turn signals, but I am not on the list for the fuel pump.

There is usually a time delay between them adding vehicles to a recall and getting a notice on the app or website. At least that is what I noticed on my 2014 FJ.

Just checked again. The website had a new "last updated" date (yesterday) and I'm still not on the list. Either this recall is a subset of the production or the delay in updating their website is a lot longer than I expected.

I'll check it again next month. I'm not going to make a trip just for the turn signal recall, but if my truck is added to the fuel pump recall I'll do them both at the same time.
