Okay sorry I know this is a fairly stupid question, but my stock leaf pack is flat. Instead of getting oem leafs to replace. I was thinking about the Deaver k37 or either a custom Alcan pack. I have adjustable Toytec shackles with Toytec 2.5 aluma’s in the front. I want the truck level to slight rake, as in 1/2”. Here the stupid question If I get a new pack and reuse the toytec shackles that should put me at a about a 1” rake correct? If I get the new pack, should I just go back to stock shackles or is there a better aftermarket company that makes stronger shackles that doesn’t add additional lift? BTW I usually have an empty bed and may pull a 7k camper twice a year with a WDH.

I’d take a look at the coach builder shackles. They seem to be well liked around here

I was looking that them but they add 1/2” lift on top of the 1.5” lift the k37’s add.

See @Toytec Lifts for the OME shackles. Same as OEM height, stronger and greasable.

Kind of difficult to answer, lifting these trucks is usually not a “one size fits all” kind of answer.

It is really going to depend if you get the Deaver packs or go with the Alcan packs, also how much lift do you actually have in the front? Can “easily” adjust the front with more/less preload.

Typically the best way to figure this out is to just measure. How high is your truck from center wheel or truck frame to fender. Then get the best estimate of how much the new rear leaf packs will lift your truck and buy the shackles that will get you about into the level of rake you are looking for.

Coach builders are great, but they are really wide. If you plan on running a 35” tire you will have issues trying to stuff it under the bed of your truck with those shackles, just an FYI.

I have the Total Chaos 3/4” lift shackles in my garage waiting to be installed. Good two piece design, not too thick, and minimal lift.
