    Hey all,
Looking for a new double din head unit for my 2010 set DC. Was wondering what everyone had in there 2nd gens. Would like to keep the price under 350.
Did you buy the mounting bits separately?
Might want to install backup camera in the future so a unit that includes that or is compatible with the gate handle camera would be nice.
Any suggestions or help would be great!

    Alot of them
Most of the Pioneers are pretty popular. My local shop said that it wasnt worth hooking up the rear camera up to the head unit because the image clarity would not be that good and there was something about the power to the camera being 6v versus 12 volt.

Alright might just be worth getting the fold down rear camera setup in the overhead panel, supposedly the truck is already wired for that but would need to double check

I have a kenwood excelon DMX706s that I ordered from crutchfield. With their Ready Harness service it was right about $300. I also wired a backup camera I bought off Amazon. I have no issues with the picture from the camera and the only thing I would change on the head unit is it doesn’t have an actual button for going to the next song which is annoying. But Apple car play is awesome.

The flip down overhead monitor was only for 2007-09. 2010-13 was in the rear view mirror.

I added a factory rear view camera to my ‘10 by adding the camera in the tailgate handle and the rear view monitor mirror. Both were plug and play.
