Hi all, John here and I am a newbie to this forum and to Tundra trucks. I love my new ride and I am setting her up for winter. Her name is Raquel like Raquel Welch, badd ass and sexy!

I am searching for steel rims. $216 from Toyota. I have been looking at the usual web addresses and not finding anything but refurbished. Not sure on that!

I would appreciate any feedback you may have on purchasing steel rims.

    Thank you.

Rock Warriors come with 17" rims. Do you really want 18's?

I'm running 18"s now... I am not that educated on the pros vs cons... I like the look I have now. I will be adding studded snows.
Gas milage is not a concern as I commute short distances and live at 8200 ft which means snow :)

    Welcome from NY.

Have you tried tire rack? You can get the whole package shipped.

It really doesn't matter then. 17's will give you a softer ride due to the higher sidewall, but if you're only going to mount studded snows then go for the less expensive solution.

Craigslist or local tire shops. The Toyota OEM steel wheels are everywhere.

This is what they look like. They fit 2007 and up. Any local shop that does aftermarket wheels and lifts is where I would start. You can check Offerup as well. Make sure you don't pay too much. I picked up a set a few weeks ago to put on my 2013 that I sold. I paid $75.00 for all 4 with tires that had about 15k left on them. Some people ask 4 or 500 which is crazy high unless the tires are brand new. You should be able to find a worn out set for 175 - 200 or so. Check Facebook market place too.
