Thanks for all the knowledge I’ve gained lurking around already.

As bittersweet as it was to sell my FJ after 8 years and many mods, I was able to parlay that win into another amazing Toyota. Looking forward to trying to hold the mod bug at bay.

Congrats. I was seriously considering going the other way from my '06 Tundra. I just couldn't get past that small back seat and still having teenage girls.

I already bought these to make a mount for my Hi-Lift jack in the deck rails. I told my wife I’d try not to drill or cut anything on the truck. For a while.

I loved that FJ, but the Tundra makes way more sense. I have a 10 and 6 yo and it was bad enough. Plus the suicide doors...

Welcome from Cape Cod! I got another Tundra, after trading my 05 on my 2012 FJ.......but my GF bought me another one, because she knows how much I missed the 05 Double Cab Tundra, with the electric rear window.......but I kept the FJ, too! Congrats!

So how was the change between the FJ and the Tundra?

My change from a Taco to Tundra was pretty eye opening.

The best of both worlds. Honestly, the FJ was great, but not as a DD. If I could’ve kept both I would’ve. If only my oldest was a few years older I could’ve justified it :)

I wish. I got $22.5k after buying it for $30k 8 years ago. Plus about another $6k in mods, some blood, sweat, skin, spilled beer... so maybe a wash.

Same. And having the CrewMax with the family is great. I bought it a week ago Friday and Saturday had it at our kids’ school hauling mulch around the property. Already better :)

I started watching the other thread you started on the FJ Cruiser. I'm hoping to be a new owner of one here soon.

Here's to the FJ Tundruiser crew! :smokertransformer::muscleflexing::yes::cheers:
