New CM isn't even a month old yet and already I have a dent in the bumper endcap. Pretty good one too. Right in the body line. The end caps are chrome and was planning on dethroning at some point but now all I see is that dent. Now I have to decide on replacing the entire bumper or just ordering new end caps. Either way the dechroming process has begun.

With all the money that I spend to put a matching caps, convert my fogs to TRD ..I should just spend it to C4 bumper.

that's an old post. The bumpers have been available for quite some time. Here is their website. Brace yourself; they are not cheap. https://c4fabrication.com/collections/tundra-2014

Best area on the entire truck to get a dent. By a long shot.

I can relate and feel your pain Boss hog, My first Tundra, (2007 DC) had 100 miles on it when it got hit in a parking lot by a ghost rider who was never to be seen again. I now have the damage on display as a man cave ornament.

Ouch! That's a lot worse than mine. But maybe I can parley this into a man cave somehow. Ha. Silver lining.

I know it's more of a scrape knee than a broken arm but damn, only had the truck a couple weeks. Let's be honest, the chrome was on borrowed time any way. Just have to decide which bumper I want. Waaaaay too many choices.

My first dent was on the side of the bed close to the top.
I could see it every time I looked in the side mirror..:(
Paid a PDR guy to fix it.

I can understand wanting to get rid of the chrome.
I'm considering the bumpershellz in either TPO (close match to black center piece) or color matched.
    https://www.ecoological.com/store/p57/2014-2020_Tundra_Front_BumperShellz.html

I've gone 5 years without any scratches on my chrome bumpers.

I looked into replacing the chrome ends with OEM plastic.
But with parts and having them painted locally it was getting up to, if not over, $800 for front and rear.
That was with me installing them...:eek2:
