Looking for any help. Looking to pull the trigger on a 2021 Tundra Army Green SR5 4x4 but it is not TRD sport or off-road .. Is there any big differences, parts, or comforts I’ll missing out on if I don’t go sport or off-road that I can’t add-on later? Or should I wait to get a sport or off road model?? Thanks for your help in advance hopefully new tundra owner

Welcome from UT! There are plenty of upgrades that can get you as good as or better ride quality and capability than the TRD dealer options. The only difference would be not having the badging the day you drove off the lot. Even the badges and other parts can be purchased from places like Cools Springs or Sparks. Exhaust you'd be better off with a BAMuffler system, and you can get a Toytec setup that would rival the suspension. I have been doing a lot of research on these subjects since I have an SR5.

I think you're only missing out on push button start. Otherwise you can upgrade all parts like suspension, color matched trim and LED headlights.

It may be kinda pricey and time consuming to upgrade on your own vs buy it already packaged off the lot. Also won't get us much in trade in or resale for your personal upgrades vs a Toyota option or package.

However, choosing you're own upgrades allows you to make it yours and buy better than OEM equipment.

I'd probably buy a TRD package and then still slowly upgrade over length of ownership.

Welcome from DFW. If you are in the DFW area I can point you in the direction of a dealership I've had good luck with. Let me know if your interested and I'm message you a contact.
It really comes down to if plan to mod the truck yourself and also what your daily uses for it will be. Others above have pointed out the differences so now you just have to determine what you end goal is and then how you want to get there. Both are great trucks and trims, good luck!
