2006 Toyota Tundra shut off abruptly on the highway.

I put a new battery in my 2006 Tundra yesterday. It started right up, I made it about a 1/4 mile
and it shut off abruptly. If I try to restart, it cranks over at what seems to be a little faster than usual, but no start, just cranks. What sensor or relay would have shut it off like that. There are
no codes. Where are the relays or sensors that I need to check for the start sequence?
I am in Alaska, and a long way from any shop, I must fix this myself. Any advice or direction would be helpful, Thanks.

If it’s spinning over faster than normal, that could be indicative of a loss of compression. I’d start with researching the plethora of discussions with timing belts and the potential for breaks.

if the belt is ok, I would look at fuel delivery.

 

It sound either the starer is not extending out like it should or the gears are stripped/broken on it.

 

Security system? Fuel shut off? Battery swap may have set something off
