Hello Everyone. I am new to the Forum (like I just joined today). I have a 2004 Tundra SR5 2wd. My Door Control Receiver is bad (says the Toyota dealer). I believe them because the 2 fobs I already had plus the 2 I bought on Ebay don't work anymore. I've been trying to find this part in my vehicle (Part Number: 89741-0C020) for 2 weeks. Different sources say it is in different places, but I've looked in just about all of these locations with no luck. Some give the impression that it's under the hood (nope), near the cigarette lighter (don't think so), inside the glove box (don't see it). If anyone has any information that they can share with me, I would very much appreciate it. Thanks.

It’s stuffed up between the firewall and dash support, pain to remove but doable, it’s above the steering wheel towards the middle of the truck. I think 3 plugs going to it.

If you don’t find it by tomorrow night I’ll see if I can get a photo

Thanks empty_lord. I thought I checked that area, but there's so much stuff in there, I could have missed it. I'm going to peruse that area super slow this time. I will say that the part that I purchased has only one plug (I just tried to post some pics). As far as I know, all the sources that I checked say that this is the correct part. I'm about to go and explore again. I'll provide an update tomorrow. Thanks again!

I know this is an old thread but I need to find the location of the door control receiver in a 2006 Tundra Double Cab. I have torn my dash apart but can't seem to find it. When I scan through techstream it shows a B1242 Door Control Circuit so I am starting to think the part is removed from the truck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
