Hello all, I need some help. I bought a stereo system from JRT and I need some help. I got all 6- 1/2 speakers installed but need help with hooking up the front and rear tweeter. The rear I read as to tie it into the 6 1/2 but I have the clip harness on one side and speaker connections on the other side. How do I tie it in? I read I don’t use my current tweeter stock wire. Also how do I tie the front into the 6 1/2? Do I use posi-tap? I can’t see in cutting off the current harness and connection already from the factory harness? Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

Look in this thread. Look at the rear speaker. You can see how he tie the tweeter in with the speaker.

Basically, you connect the new speaker adapter to your speaker, then the other end of that adapter connect to the factory wire. Now your speaker is hooked up. Now take the new tweeter wire and tap (positap 12+ and negative) into the speaker adapter harness that you had connected to the speaker.

This way your radio send signal to the speaker and the inline crossover will filter the frequency to your tweeter.

Does that make sense? I hope it help some.
