To all whom it may concern,

Has anyone had issues with some vibration in their alternator? I’ve got a 2017 Turd off-road that has a pulsating vibratory noise coming from the alternator. It appeared randomly and may be something that no one else hears, but I do. Took it to the dealership early on and they told me it was the water pump; wanted to charge $900 to fix it. Luckily my old man taught me a few things so I replaced the water pump myself, and, low and behold, it wasn’t the problem. I’ve traced it down to the alternator, 100% sure, and I was wondering if anyone else has had this issue. It still generates just fine, but that noise drives me crazy. If anyone has a high output alternator they want to get rid of please let me know!
