Hello from Nashville--new Gen 1 owner

    Have been looking for a reasonably-priced, solid gen 1 4wd for a while. I finally found one and it was close to home!
    2001, 4wd, Access cab, Ltd
    Cosmetically pretty nice (driver seat front bumper and a couple of spots of paint issues).
    The factor that drove the sale: The frame is Solid! I have looked at (live or via pics/video) probably 100+ trucks and all but one had rotten frames. North or south didn't seem to matter.
    This one has some issues--it needs tires. And brakes (they brakes suck on a good day--had a Sequoia previously) and 4wd shakes like a paint-mixing machine above 20mph--I'll start looking at driveshaft, u-joints and CVs/axles soon. But it has a solid Frame! (do I sound excited?)
    Looking forward to inhaling all the knowledge and experience I can get from the rest of you here. And if I have anything of value to add, I will.
