The anti skid light and check engine light came on and the 4 LO light is flashing. truck wont accelerate to over about 30 mph. only 130K miles on it. haven't been using 4wd since last winter except for occasional slippery grass.

Disconnect the battery, let it set for a bit then reconnect. Fire it up and head to your nearest parts store to get the codes read. Report back here with the results.

Before you pull the battery terminal, try and pull codes... its not too often that the CEL comes on, but at times it has codes, can get you a better idea on what's going on, if it doesn't have any codes then go ahead and do a reset...

The lights went out when I disconnected then reconnectedthe battery and are still out. It accelerates and runs normally. I went to both NAPA and OReilly auto part s and they cant read the codes because the checkengine lights out. I have an appointmenyat a local shop tomorrow , they say they'll be able to read them.. I'll let you know how it goes.

    Thanks

Dang, sorry dude. @blackdemon_tt has a good point. I told you what I did bc I didn't know if only going 30mph was gonna hinder you getting it somewhere to get the codes read. I guess Napa & Oreallys can't scan for inactive codes.

going 30 mph to town probably would have been pretty dangerous so resetting the codes and being able to go hwy speed was probably the best way.. lots of logging trucks around here really moving. Wonder what the odds ar of the codes recurring.

Had diasnostics done this morning. Code P2442 Secondary Air Injection System Switching Valve Stuck Open Bank 2. Apparently it forces the truck into limp mode.
