Has anyone had experience with installing these guys? I have seen in some places that the stock bushings do not fit with the shackle and some where they do? I am hoping there isn’t a need to grind anything down...

Another possibly very dumb question, is there a wrong way to put these in? As you can see there is an angle in the cross member. Which way should be forward?

Yea I had issues getting these on. I had to grind down the metal insert inside the bushing a bit to get the shackle to fit. Wasn’t too hard after that, leaf spring slipped right in and bolted up. I don’t think there is a wrong way to install these, they will only bolt up one way

    good luck

Thanks for the reply man. So it’s only the bushing itself that needs to be ground down? Won’t be pumped if I have to grind down components on a new truck haha

I had the same issue with mine- had to cut down the metal sleeve so that it fit. As for the install, I installed mine so that when the leafs compressed and the shackles pushed out, the angled brace in the middle of the shackles was kinda parallel to the frame.

Well shit... it sounds like Camburg just didn’t do a great job on these?

From my experience, I suggest going to poly bushings if they work with these.
The oe bushings cause the rear ride to be rougher

Hmm so maybe I should just level the truck with my 6112s and hold off on the shackles until I get the bushings?
