All the goodies finally showed up and I started on the build. First up was the VLEDs puddle and interior lights, to include their front and rear footwell lights. Very easy install and a massive upgrade from the OEM incandescents, particularly the puddle lights.

Next up were the TRD Pro headlights- (thanks @Roman and @iHacker!) Also a very easy install. Fantastic wire adapters from iHacker- top quality and excellent customer service, I highly recommend his products if anyone else upgrades headlights.

Color matched door handles, mirror caps and OEM fender flares were next.
It’s amazing what a little chrome removal does for a Tundra.

Then I started the suspension. I don’t have a relationship with a local shop with a spring compressor and read on here about the no compressor method. Worked great until trying to get the new Falcons in on the level (2”) setting. Fought that crap for a couple hours and gave up. Just couldn’t get the angle right with the extra length. Grabbed a “heavy duty” spring compressor from a parts store and was able to compress the spring enough to get it on the stock setting. I wasn’t going to press my luck any further so I just did the one assembly. I’ll have to find a shop around here that can put a truck shock together. Frustrating- have to wait until Monday at least.

As soon as I get the front end sorted I’ll get on the rear end. Can’t wait to get the @Coachbuilder1 shackles installed. He’s another great guy to deal with. I sent him an email about a small issue with my order and he called me directly within 20 minutes. Totally unexpected. Just have to say that the guys I’ve dealt with based on recommendations from this forum have been excellent. Dustin from FN Wheels, Roman, Coachbuilder, iHacker- these guys set the standard for customer service. Can’t recommend them enough.

I’m going to hit the grill with some HyperDip and get some more pics up when I get this all done.

Excited to hear more of your experience with the Falcons! Looks like a terrific option!

Finally finished all the work. Had to get the springs compressed myself as no shop around here does that kind of work.
I have a couple hundred miles on the Falcons and I’m very impressed. I don’t have much to compare them to besides the OEM stuff but it’s way better in my opinion. The ride is firmer, but much more controlled. The annoying, jittery bounce from the rear end is gone. The combo of the shocks and the Coachbuilder shackles make it feel like a completely different truck. I also hooked the boat up and tried setting #2 on the rear shocks- definite improvement in towing as well. No more bounce and porpoising.
Headlights are a huge improvement over the halogens. The originals were just awful for a newer truck. Unfortunately the nice clear light output makes the stock fogs look anemic and out of place. Diode Dynamics are going on the short list.

Thanks to all for the previous reviews that helped me choose a great setup. Love this truck...

Looks great! How do you like the fender flares? Did you get those from Roman? What the install like?

I really like the flares. I’m not a fan of rivet style and these are just right. They extend just enough to cover the poke the new wheels have.
I got them from Sparks as I didn’t see the OEMs on the Cool Springs site. The install was a breeze- 20 minutes maybe. I am going to pop them off though and put on some paint protection film where the gasket touches to prevent any possible damage from rubbing.

Did the flares come painted from Toyota? I don't see the option to select the color.

They came painted- not sure if it was Toyota or Sparks paint. I just checked their site again, no color options anymore?? They only had a few colors when I ordered, 040 Super White, 218 Black Metallic (mine) and maybe MGM. Glad I got them when I did I guess...

Try giving them a call- 866 249-3607, ask for internet parts.

Glad you are liking the Falcon shocks! Appreciate the feedback. They are on my list when the time comes so it's always good to get confirmation that they are great!!!
