Army Green SR5 for 2021

Have you guys noticed 2021 is supposed to include a lot of special colors previously only on TRD Pro models? Looks like the SR5 can come with:
Voodoo Blue
Cavalry Blue
Army Green

Pretty cool change... I'm pretty interested in a cheaper Army Green

 

they look hideous with all that chrome tho

 

Yeah, Army Green is one of those colors that just can't have chrome.

 

They usually do that with the pro colors after a while.

 

I think the Cavalry Blue doesn't look too bad with the chrome.

 

They do that every year. The TRD Pro exclusive color is available for all models for the next model year. So next year, Lunar Rock will be available for all models.

 

If the build and price site is to be believed, Canadians can only get Army green on the Trail edition, though. If that's true, I'm glad I didn't wait for it.

 

I saw a post on here where somebody had the SR5 in Army Green and I think it actually looked pretty good. I was pleasantly surprised. A lot of the colors don't but I think the Army Green can pull it off. I wish there was a gunmetal grey they could use instead of the blinding chrome though - that'd be pretty slick.

 

Agreed. I'll probably actually end up getting it in TRD Sport trim. Just really don't need the markup for the offroad suspension on the TRD Pro for me.

 

I'm trying to order an Army Green double cab. You do have to have the TRD package, which I want anyways. If Toyota is going to take forever to do it I'll probably just pick up a magnetic gray or red leftover 2020. I go back and forth and liking the army green color but just wanted something different, lol. Local dealers price is around $41k plus tax for that build, 9% off plus rebate.

 

Remind me of a papaw truck with all the chrome.

 

Only the Army green is new this year for the SR5 models, the other colors have been available for a year or two.

To the chrome haters my VooDoo actually looks good with the chrome, at least in my opinion, and that is the only one that matters when it comes to my ride!

Well we will find out in about 7 weeks, order a 1794 last week and the dealer already ordered the parts to delete the chrome.

Voodoo sr5. Very tempting,love my black 15 and it’s almost paid off. Voodoo is a great color and I usually don’t like blue whatsoever. On the fence

 

Every year has a new pro color, and the year after it is available on the other trims. Nothing new here. It's a nice bonus for those of us that struggle with the premium charged for the Pro trim.
Also, Cavalry Blue was never a Pro color on the Tundra. It was the 2018 color for tacos and 4runners, but there was no pro Tundra in '18.
