    I graduated Marine bootcamp in summer of 78. MCRD San Diego. VH's debut album had been out 5 months already. I was held over for a month there before my school slot opened up. It was crazy. Van Halen cranked up pretty much all over the base personnel living quarters. All over........every day I was there...Eddie struck a chord with all of us....no one could play the neck of a guitar like him.....no one....hell yeah!
