I will give you the short Explanation. I have an audio Jack out for the vehicle. When I just plug the audio from the car to the audio Jack on my phone the sound quality is very poor. However if I then plug in the car charger into the cigarrette lighter and then into my phone the audio is clear but there is a bunch of static feedback when there's no volume. Any ideas?

What if you connect a pair of earbuds or headphones to your phone, same results?
Did you try another phone in the truck and have the same results?

What kind of phone is it android, iPhone, or windows?

    And welcome to the forum..
