Finally decided to pull the trigger on a new running board, got the Tyger Star Armor. At first I didn't really like the stars but they grew on me. [IMG]

Door handles, mirror cap and grille are the next to go.

I’ve been looking at those running boards myself. Looks great!

You going to go with black or color matched on the other parts?

My wallet is telling me black because the sunset bronze mica OEM parts are so expensive. But I'm probably gonna get the matching colors and just close my eyes when I checkout.

That’s what I would do. It’s just money. No point in saving it, because you’ll just blow it on something else.

I was thinking about just taking it to a paintshop and having them paint it, still OEM lol

My wife has a Blizzard Pearl Sequoia. She wanted a Pro grill and color matched mirror caps, but they don’t come in that color. I ordered black mirror caps and a Super White grill. I had a local paint shop match them for me for a hundred bucks.

I was thinking about keeping my regular Grille and just painting it black and have everything else matching color. They quoted me 1k for everything I wanted done, "Mirror cap, door handles, grille, parts around the grille and chrome fog light housing."

Seems high. I got a good deal on the painting, but the highest quote I got was 200. I didn’t spend that much even after buying the Pro grill.
I’d have to go back and look to be sure, but I think I was under $800.00 all in. That was for the grill, mirror caps, and door handles. Had the grill and caps painted, left the handles black.

The only thing I didn’t do was the chrome trim in the fog housings.

I might look around some more then, why did you want to keep the housing chrome?
