    Hi,
I'm trying to determine if 285 75 18 tires will fit with toytec Boss 2.0 Aluma lift on stock wheels (also have adjustable SPC UCAs) - nothing installed yet. Looking to get as much lift as possible, front and back (2.5 -3").
This is 2018 DC with OR package, has a leer hard topper with the 8 FT bed.
The truck has almost zero rake with the topper and minimal camping gear. Not looking for bling, just need more clearance, real easy to rub the bottom with stock setup.

Any chance the 285 75 18 (35") wrangler duratracs will fit without body mods, or wheel spacers, with this lift setup?
This is the third time I've attempted to post this, it keeps getting deleted, I'm sure I'm doing something wrong.

    any advice is much appreciated!
I have a thick skin - so rip away if need be :)
    cheers

I had 285/75/18 Toyo rt on factory wheels on my 11’ dc with the older style boss 3” kit and they fit fine. I had to trim skid plate, remove mud flaps and trim some plastic but they fit and didn’t rub after I did that. No wheel spacers just the factory trd or wheels. I would assume your good to go if you trim the same

Correction- I didn’t remove the mud flaps. I remember trimming the skid plate I don’t exactly remember what plastic if any I had the mess with

Thanks for the response, not too many members that do a lift with bigger tires on stock wheels.
New tire s are lots of $$, nothing like getting new tire you hate. so many different tire reviews. did you like the toyos for road noise and overall highway handling?

Is 295 70 18 an easier tire to clear with out spacers or other mods - more tire options in this size. Trimming plastic is ok, just don't want to trim metal, except for skid plate.

I’m a big fan of the rt. I don’t pay attention to road noise I’ve always had lifted trucks and am just used to it I guess. They handle great all around and offroad traction is excellent. I couldn’t say about the 295/70 but being wider it may rub something that mine didn’t. You’ll be really close to the uca if you go any wider on those wheels I think

I’m looking to upsize my tires a bit to 285/75/18. I’d like to keep my off-road rims, but I also have SPC upper control arms. Any problems filling those tires and wheels on with those upper control arms? Or did you end up having to use spider track spacers?

How’s the fit with the Boss 2.0? I’m running 6112 at 1.3 inch but might need to go to 1.9 to avoid issues.
