Money comes and goes, but your time is increasingly more precious. It doesn't really matter what you have or don't have. You will never have more time, so take as much of that as you possibly can Brother! Your work will not give a shit if you're there or not, for whatever reason. So, make the most of what you know now. Save some $, sure. Spend some $ sure, waste some $, sure but you can always make more $.
You can't make more time, so you should take it while you can. You're in a good situation to make the most out of life, not to die with loads of 401k that did nothing for you while you're breathing.

 

Update,

The web site I go to about the time off is live now.

I found out the time off will not be taxed as bonus money but taxed at whatever rate you are currently taxed at, which means alot more money back into my pocket.

I until 10/25 to decide what I want to do, if I do nothing the time rolls over.

Down side to rolling it over, if I seperate from the company I do not collect any of the time off in pay.
